Ball valves
Ball valves can also be used in steam applications, provided the pressure/temperature resistance of the seals is checked when choosing the valve. Ball valves are fast-acting, which can cause problems in steam systems, since quick opening of a valve may give rise to water hammer in the system.
Our extensive ball valve range includes models with soft seats and models with metal seats.
ALFA ball valves are soft seated 2-way and 3-way valves up to the nominal size of DN 400. Small size classes have a floating structure and large sizes have a fixed structure.
ALFA Penta metal seated ball valves as well as custom-built product solutions are suitable for applications with high temperature and pressure.
Our product range covers valves that conform to DIN and ANSI classifications. Special materials like hastelloy, duplex, and titanium are also available.
In addition to manual operation, all ball valves are available with pneumatic or electric actuators or with necessary optional extras.
