Process valves

Process valves include a wide choice of valves for use at different locations, such as simple basic models for water and air piping and special valves for demanding conditions.

Appropriate valve selection

The same rules apply to process valve selection as in the case of valves in general. The pressure and temperature affecting the valve are among the grounds for dimensioning, but especially in the case of various process media, consideration of the appropriate choice of materials is of particular importance. The length of product lifecycle and extension of maintenance intervals are emphasiszed in the context of such problematic media.

Process media may be similar by their operating data, but may differ by their solid particles content, for example. From this viewpoint as well, appropriate selection of the valve operation principle yields cost savings in both maintenance and valve life.
