Actuators
The most typical actuator for swivel-operating ball valves is a pneumatic actuator. This is either a double-acting actuator, in which case the pressurised air both opens and closes the valve, or a single-acting (so-called spring-return) actuator, in which case the closing spring of the actuator opens or closes the valve after the pressure has dispersed.
With ball valves, all swivel-operating electric actuators available on the market can be used.
Limit and position data are available for all actuator options; in addition, the actuators can be connected to a bus.
